Molars, Play dates, Rodeos - Oh My

Let me start off by apologizing for no "walking" video on the last post. For some reason I am unable to upload my videos from my mom's computer. I may have to go over Uncle Nick and Aunt Andria's house one evening.

For the past 2 months, a couple days a week; I have been babysitting my friends little girl, Kailyn. She is almost 4 months old and it has been great practice for Lily and I before baby #2 arrives. Lily has learned to be gentle and to share mommy with others :). I was a little worried how she would respond but since she is still young it has been an easy transition.

Over the weekend Lily cut her 1st year molars. I researched when they are suppose to come in because I thought it was extremely early but she is right on track. Come to find out all the symptoms make the past couple months finally make sense. She had been extremely moody, picky when she eats, occasional runny nose, and the crazy NIGHT WAKING with unexplainable crying episodes. I was afraid her ears were hurting and infection may be brewing. So now this little one walks and chews on EVERYTHING simultaneously!

This has been a busy week for both Lily and mmony. Lily has been improving her walking everyday. We babysat friend Kailyn on Monday and Tuesday. The rest of this week cousin Josie has spent the days with us and it couldn't have gone smoother. Some how I managed for them to both nap at the same time which allowed me time to squeeze in all the chores - it has to be just luck. Oh and Lily went to the rodeo again this week. Although this trip was a little different. She didn't do much sitting; it was all WALKING and she didn't care where.

Just think in a week or two it won't just be Lily and Josie anymore. We will be joined by the triplet cousins- Alexander, Zachary, and Gracie. Then twins cousins - Hunter and Hannah will arrive. A few short months later Lily's sister will join the crew along with Uncle Jason and Aunt Crystal's baby boy. DID YOU CATCH ALL OF THAT? BABY BONANZA!!

Here are a few pictures of Lily reading to Josie during their little play dates....

WALKING and a revealed secret

Lily is walking!! She has been taking a few wobbly steps here and there and barely holding on as she walks along the couch or tables. Within the last couple of days she is getting braver and braver. Last night we had a blast watching her walk around for about 45mins. It tired her out so much she looked like a staggering drunk person. I have been so excited for this milestone. Many have said it only gets harder to keep track of little ones but I beg to differ.

Today was another big day for the Coyle Family. Mommy had a dr. appointment with the new treating doctors office located in Pembroke Pines. I will be delivering at Memorial West when the time comes. My due date is still projected for January 4th. Me and baby are doing great. Yesterday marked 20wks pregnant (half way mark). I am underweight by just 1 pound from my starting weight, still climbing though. I guess the ice cream, popcorn, and slurpees every night is helping. We had the 20wk anatomy ultrasound which is also the scan they reveal or confirm the baby's sex. With Lily we choose not to find out but Ryan requested the other route since this will be our last. I told him if he could make it to the appointment he could find out. Well, time came for the ultrasound and as soon as mommy layed on the table for the tech to begin Lily started to cry and wouldn't sit still so he had to stroll the halls of the hospital. Of course when we met back up he asked all the right questions- first makeing sure the health of me and the baby were all in the "clear" and then just continued to stare at me .... I joked and said I found out but was going to keep the information hostage; But moments later said "IT'S A GIRL"! Lily is going to have a little sister and daddy is going to buy another gun to fight of the boys when the teenage years approach ;). I said ..."You know what this means right? We need to buy 2 ponies now!" YAY!!!!

Ryan is naming this little one and its 99% set - MOLLY JANE COYLE

Lily turns 1

Yesterday was Lily's Birthday. We had a small party at Grammy's house with just the immediate family. Our family is growing by leaps and bounds. We can't all fit in one house and the heat won't allow us to do much outdoors. Next year will be different. We will be in a house and will definitely have the pool up, that way we won't have to limit the invites.

Lily was a super star for her special day. She soaked up every ounce of undivided attention. I was afraid she may be overwhelmed at moments but she was a trooper. She received lots of gifts that we still need to sort through and put away. A friend made Lily's cake and cups cakes for the guests. It was all delicious, there's none left :). Grandma Kathy ordered the decorations which really dressed up the house and looked nice. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did.

On to Lily's latests: Lily has been completely off of formula and on whole milk for quite some time now. Bye-bye baby foods since she was about 10mos. This little child has an appetite. She is still picky at times... but man does she love food. She is minutes away from walking. She has taken a few steps but as soon as she realizes what she is doing she sits down. She pushes everything around the house. Lily just cut 2 more top teeth earlier this week bringing our total to 8, but I think more are on the way. She is gnawing on everything.

I have thought this but family members have confirmed it...Lily must not have been able to hear very well prior to getting the tubes put it. The dr. said a while back she could have been experiencing mild to moderate hearing loss. Well, since last week and switch has been flipped. Lily is a jabbering fool!!!! Everyday she seems to be trying to say something new or just talking in her secret language. She tries to say "Hi Kitty" at the back door when she sees that cat. "Hi Fishies" at my parents computer when the fish tank screen saver is active. "Mama" and "Dada" are more and more often and used at the right time. Oh and she sings with Zeke...or shall I say they "howl" together.

1 year has come and gone quite fast but we are excited for more milestones!
