Wrapping up September

The heat seems to be slowly winding down. I'm trying to get back in the routine of our morning park trips before the sun really begins to bake. Molly is all smiles (and grins :)) and Lily is 5th gear the entire time! Naps are easy on those days!!

These recent days seem to be flying by as our schedules have been crazy. Just when we seem to have adjusted, we go and change it up again. This weekend we begin the renovations on our new home. We have our apartment until Novemeber, that is our deadline to complete the necessary fixes and remodels.

Molly is 9 months old now and has begun exploring with table foods here and there. At this age Lily was just beginning to crawl. Molly has already started to let go and stand on her own and can cruise along the furniture while holding on. I think this little girl is going to be just as wild as Lily - she is FEARLESS!

A couple weeks ago I pulled out one of Lily's gifts she got from her Grandma Kathy and she LOVES IT. I do believe this is on her favorite list these days. Thankfully she shares with her Lil Sis because Molly is just as amused.

Oh and a few 1st this month... Molly went to her first rodeo and Lily had her first dance in the rain!

The triplets had a photo session for their 1st birthday and the shots came out amazing. The photographer is Aunt Sharon's friend who has also photographed cousin Josie and our girls. Katherine put together a little something extra for all of us. But we will have to make room for one more as we just found out last week that Josie will become a BIG SISTER in May!

Daddy's Little Girls

Literally, "Daddy's Little Girls". More and More each day I see how much they are just like their daddy.

Lily has always had her daddy's appetite. The amount of purchased produce increases each week we go to the grocery. Lily is a salad eating fool and sometimes twice a day. Ryan can't even eat his salad at night without her mooching half of it. Now when the popcorn comes out she better have her own bowl or she will snatch it right out from under you. Just the other day I sat to watch a few laps of a NASCAR race with Ryan and enjoy some hot popcorn. Before I knew it Lily is next to me and my bowl was swiped from my lap. I looked over and she had a mouth full with her eyes glued to the RACE - JUST LIKE HER DADDY.

And just when I think there's hope for Molly to maybe show traits of being like her mommy I find her "crab-walking" across the living room - JUST LIKE HER DADDY. Ryan never crawled on his hands and knees; it was always hands and feet. Molly seems to prefer "the crab" and she can get going quite fast :)

I must give credit where credit is due. Recently I've needed to pick up more shifts at work; 5 and 6 nights a week now. Ryan comes home from work with just enough time to shower and then I'm running out the door to work. So Daddy is in charge of dinner, baths, and bedtime every night. I have yet to hear him complain. There are nights when I come home to a slumber party in our bed but I can't help but smile when I see them.

Over the weekend we celebrated Lily and Molly's cousins' birthday (Grace, Zachary, and Alexander). They turned 1 !!!! Can't believe how fast time is flying. It is becoming very fun to get all the kids together. Lily and Josie are looking more like "little people" and the babies aren't looking much like babies anymore. They are growing fast and its hard to keep up :)
