Some 1st's and Some 2nd's

Lots has happened over the past months.

(I've been trying to publish this post for almost 2 weeks....)

The girls took a trip to Great Aunt Kaka's house on Ft. Myers Beach with their cousins (Grace, Alexander, and Zachary). This was Molly's 1st trip to the beach. That was ..... interesting. Lily still ABSOLUTELY HATES the sand on her bare feet. She stops dead in her tracks the second a grain touches her little toes. Luckily water socks saved the day! Molly seemed to enjoy it but with all 5 children, the adults were out numbered and actual "beach time" was very limited. Having them all together in a 2 bedroom house for 3 days was quite comical. It seemed as though someone always needed to eat... or sleep... or poop...or throw up...or wanted to be held...or was crying. Good thing Aunt Kaka had margaritas on hand.

This was not as peaceful as it may appear.

Molly now has 2 teeth! She cut the first one on a Monday morning and got the second 4 days later. THANK GOODNESS! I got some much needed sleep last night. She had been night waking for the past month or two on and off. Now that the girls share a room, when 1 wakes....so does the other, which in turn started an UNWANTED party in my bed or on the couch. I am happy to report, everyone is in their own bed ALL NIGHT LONGGGG!

Molly has also mastered the crawling, sitting on her own, and pulling up on EVERYTHING. This munchkin won't be "little" for much longer. She has grown out of everything! Just about every outfit and pj's are size 12mos.

Molly has also found herself a new best friend - ZEKE! They are drawn to each other like magnets. When I step out of the room I have to put her in the crib, if not she is climbing all over him. Its surprising to see how calm Zeke is with her.


The girls had a dr visit just last week. Both girls are at the top of the charts for height. Molly is 27 1/2 inches and average weight of 18.7 lbs. Lily is 36inches and with an average weight of 26lbs.

Lily turned 2YRS OLD and had a GREAT birthday party!!! The theme was "Toy Story" of course. Thankfully her grandparents let us host the party at their house. I think it's safe to say the party was a "success" and everyone had an awesome time. Lily played so hard I thought for sure she'd be asleep by 8 o'clock. Huh...what do I know. She hung till 11:30 that night, till I went to bed.

I'm proud to announce Ryan and I finally bought our 2nd home. This is our FOREVER home and we are so excited! We closed on the house 2 weeks ago. The previous owner will be renting from us for another 2 months, then we have a major "rehab"project on our hands. The house is located in Davie in a beautiful neighborhood between cousin Josie's house and Grammy's. The best part...... the house came with a PONY and a GOAT hahaha. I think I may be more excited than Ryan and the girls. (photos later)
