Almost 5months old and Wild 1's

Little Miss found her thumb!

Miss Molly is almost 5 months old now. She is growing leaps and bounds every day. She rolls everywhere. The second she hits the floor she flips to her back and even manages to turn and scoot occasionally. A month or 2 ago Molly started to belly laugh. She smiles and grins at just about anything. I don't think it will be too long before Molly is sitting up on her own. Big sister Lily is quite a handful for me so thankfully Molly is such an easy keeper. I do believe the teething has begun. She is drooling constantly and sometimes stuffy. But she is still happier than ever. At her last check up miss chunky monkey weighed 16lbs 5oz and was 26inches long. This girl can EAT!! We recently started rice cereal and seems to be doing well with it.

Miss Lily is.....WILD!!!! This child never stops! I try each day to get out and venture somewhere purposely to get her out of the house. We have a few parks we visit each week. We still go to Aunt Sharon's house on Wednesdays. Weekends are at one of the grandparents. Now I started taking her swimming at our community pool. She is probably the only 1yr old than insists on swimming with mardi gras beads around her neck and with a stuff animal "pooh bear". I took her one afternoon just she and I and she did great. The next day I took the challenge of taking both girls by myself. Molly was perfect but Lily did not like the idea of her joining us in the pool. (Jealousy is becoming quite an issue) Anyhow... Lily was using the swimming rings on her arms but was becoming all too comfortable with those. She would walk down to the deep end and drop in off the side with one bit of hesitation and could careless where I was. She jumps of the side and walks right down the steps without a bit of fear. So, I took the rings off! Yea...still no fear. She still jumps off the side and pushes of the steps without a problem. She goes completely underwater and holds her breath like a champ. Its definitely an unorganized motions of movement but she tries and I am excited with that alone. I can only hope we continue on this trend.

Lily has also started sleeping in her "big girl bed". Usually that is where she naps. She has only lasted a couple of full nights. She has greeted me a few times half way through the night. So the crib is still predominately where she sleeps.

Molly celebrated her 1st Easter while Lily celebrated her 2nd. I worked Saturday but the girls spent the day with Ryan and his side of the family - Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Ron came to visit. Sunday we had lunch with my side. What a day that was! Lily started out quite rough but we made it through. The Easter Bunny even visited but Lily wanted no part of that!! She kept telling him "BYE!" anytime he would come close to her.

Just Yesterday we celebrated cousin Josie's 1st birthday! I worked before the party so I met daddy and the girls there. Of coarse I left my camera at home :(. I am anxiously awaiting Aunt Andria's "birthday post" to see all of the pictures. It was a beautiful day with TONS of children. Josie seemed to really enjoy everything.
