November, December...where did you go? Bring it on 2012!

November

I'm trying to back track and remember all the things that has happened the past few months. It feels as though I blinked and a year went by...

The House** We are moved in and almost completely settled. We have more furniture than we do indoor space, which poses a tiny problem but we've seem to make it work. We have been living in our "forever home" since Thanksgiving. It's quickly established that "home sweet home" feeling.

Miss Molly** OUT OF CONTROL!!! She cut a couple more teeth (total now 7) since my last post and is full blown WALKING. Yes, walking!! She started taking steps in late October. One week after moving in she was completely walking. Not only is she walking but climbing too. She climbs on the coffee table, up on chairs, all over the dog. She will try to perch herself up on anything she can get her little hands on. Oh and how can I forget her little TANTRUMS. If Molly wants something she can't have... she will throw herself on the floor and screech! Her Granny Ronna thinks that's a good thing because this world can be a cruel place and she wants her to be able to stand up for herself lol...I don't think she will have a problem in that department; especially with a Big Sister like Lily. Molly had another first not too long ago(First Word) "Bye Bye". She is babbling and tries very hard to repeat anything you ask of her and for the most part she isn't far off.

We apparently got Zeke years ago for Molly without knowing it. This is completely her dog now. Zeke is a different dude around her. She can ride him, lay with him, feed him food all day long - they've become "best friends". If you can't find her go look on his bed or in his resting spots...you'll find him, her, and a blankly all snuggled up.

Oh My Lily** Never a dull moment with this little pumpkin. She can be a handful, that's no secret. She is especially happier now that we are living in a house that allows us more "outdoor time". Each evening she helps feed Dusty and Billy. The other day she even helped me give Dusty a bath- that was interesting haha. She is drawn to animals of all kinds. I'd like to think that part of her comes from me. The scary part is...she's fearless. I have to be very careful when Dusty is roaming the yard. I think if she could carry a step ladder over to her, she would, just to jump on her back.

Photos are still very tricky with Lily. You have to be very sneaky in order to capture her face.

The week of Thanksgiving we got a group together and trucked on down to the Metro Zoo. The girls really seemed to love it. The entire loop is 4.5 miles. Lily walked 3/4 of it! Molly even stayed awake for the entire trip.

Molly celebrated her 1st Thanksgiving this year. We first went to Uncle Jason and Aunt Crystal's for lunch and then ended with dinner at Uncle Johnel and Aunt Sharon's.

On Wednesdays we still go to Aunt Sharon's (or shall I say "The Babies House" according to Lily) to visit with the triplets and Great Grandma Butler. Occasionally everyone comes to our house and even sometimes Josie gets to come. I think its Lily's favorite day of the week because she knows Great Gram brings lunch and usually includes a bag of chips that she shares with her.

December

On to December... I actually had some time off work. I was in between jobs and it was nice to have a little time with the girls and Ryan as a family in the evenings. Ryan's work has slowed down tremendously but fortunately has been able to drum up side work to keep things moving for us.

Time to see Santa - for Molly at least. I wasn't going to dare torture Lily with sitting on Santa's lap, let alone trying to capture a photo of it. But I took the girls one night to Bass Pro shops to let Molly sit on the jolly man's lap. Just as I go to get in line ....his "Elves" say he was done for the night. So we walked around a bit and headed home. I went back a second time but this time just with Molly. She was her happy self until I sat her on Santa's lap and stepped back for the photo. She thought I was leaving her and "the pouty lip"emerged. Either way...we got a photo!

The month seemed to fly by. Christmas is here! This year was how it should be. Spending time with the people who mean most to you. We weren't able to have a Christmas tree and solely because we had no where to put it. Santa only delivered at the grandparents houses. I will admit that the day was hectic running around from house to house. But looking back...I am so thankful and fortunate to have my family so close and to be giving our daughters the holidays that I remember having growing up.

A few days after Christmas we celebrated cousin Kell's 1st birthday. Sorry for the lack of photos. I took pictures for Uncle Jason and Aunt Crystal with their camera. Having these little ones mobile is making it harder for me to keep up with the camera. But everyone seemed to have a good time and the girls had fun playing with Kell.

Molly's 1st Birthday

Miss Molly turned 1yr old on December 29th! I had just started a new job so we celebrated the first night I was off; a week later with pizza and cake and Grammy and Grandpa's house. Just the immediate family as we did for Lily's 1st birthday. Molly was spoiled with gifts of coarse and all the cousins seem to have fun playing together. As you will see for yourself...she LOVED her cake.

1 year check up weight 21lbs height 31.25 in

She is off the bottle and eats all table foods. Everything is right on track and is at the top of the charts for her growth.

We also had a break through this month with Lily. She finally smiled for the camera. Look at that smile! Don't get too excited, this isn't an every time occurrence.

January - Happy New Year 2012!!

Well...another year is here! Who knows what is in store for us. All I know is these 2 crazy girls keep us on our toes and the memories keep getting better. We are anxious to fix up our home and make new memories as Lily and Molly grow another year. Only this time...their beds will be in one spot!!

Wrapping up October with Halloween

Well, this month seemed to fly by!! We have been so busy with the new house and work but I guess that's a good thing.

The house is coming along great! Ryan has been putting every spare second into fixing it up with the help of some family and friends. A couple more weeks and we will be able to start moving things in. We finally brought the girls over to see it and meet their new pets. Lily is IN LOVE! Every time we pull up in the driveway she gets so excited. She puts on her rubber boots and high tails it to the back yard, calling Dusty's name.

This month we were brave enough to go to the park for a picnic with some of their cousins. It was a success! It was a beautiful day out and the kids seem to really love it.

Molly has cut 3 more teeth this month. 2 of which was within 1 week. And more are to come soon. Last Friday night I took Miss Molly to the Emergency Room. She had a low grade temperature that spiked. Everything is ok, the Dr. said she was starting to get a slight UTI but thought the fever mainly may have been because of the teeth - her gums are so swollen. She's on antibiotics to catch any infections brewing.

Molly and Lily are playing more and more together and its so funny to watch the two of them. Each morning Lily would greet me by climbing into my bed to wake me up. Now Lily climbs into Molly's crib every morning to play. I wake up to sound of two little girly giggles. I can't help but smile. The only down fall is sometimes when Molly is napping and if I'm not paying attention Lily runs in there to climb in the crib to wake her up.

Molly celebrated her 1st Halloween and Lily celebrated her 3rd. The rain almost called it off but it stopped just in time. Both the girls were PUMPKINS - the cutest pumpkins! We had to practice the spirit of Halloween for a couple weeks. I bought Molly the pumpkin costume a while ago. One day I dressed her up and Lily wanted to wear it. So I figured they both would be the same. So I ordered Lily the very same costume thinking it was so easy that Lily picked her own costume. Hahaha - When the costume came in the mail, I dressed them both up. That lasted 20 seconds, Lily ran up to Molly - yanked her hat off, pushed her to the ground, and started tugging on the pumpkin top. Lily wanted to be the ONE & ONLY Pumpkin in town. A couple days a week until Halloween we would get dressed up in preparation for the big night.

Lily opening the gifts from Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Ron. She LOVED the packaging!

Lily still does NOT want to have her picture taken. This is a typical Coyle Family photo and I wouldn't want it any other way :)
